I came across Ditch the Diet and I Don’t Regret It At All

I’m Faye. I’ve been doing Ditch the Diet for about three months now. I came across it by accident, I think, on Instagram because I’ve always been a bit of a diet fan girl. And I was following lots of healthy eating, lots of diet stuff, lots of Slimming World and Weight Watchers hashtags, people taking pictures of their meals, what they ate today and stuff, and I would scroll through that and get down on myself.

But I stumbled across this anti-diet revolution side of Instagram where people are taking more of an approach to lifestyle change, and that’s how I came across Ditch the Diet and I don’t regret it at all. It’s been a really fantastic thing for me and I’ve learned how to make small changes in my life, rather than counting every single calorie that goes in, which I’ve done. I’ve done sinning things, points, all that jazz and counting calories on an app.

Ditch the Diet’s approach is entirely different to that and it’s more looking at you as a whole and what suits you and just making little changes. But it’s not a quick win, a quick fix, that then you’re going to gain all your weight back, which is what I found when I’ve yo-yo dieted over the years. So yeah, highly recommend it and I highly recommend taking part in all of the little tasks at the beginning. They make such a difference in the long run. Good luck.
