I Want To Change

I Want To Change

I like to be as open and honest as I can be
with everyone,
but sometimes it’s just not as easy as that…
and there’s something I’ve been hiding
from pretty much everybody I know. I guess I feel a bit scared, or even a little ashamed to admit it.
I’ve been really close to quitting.
Coaching, training, nutrition, EVERYTHING.
I always said that
if I wake up in the morning and don’t feel excited by the day ahead of me – I will change something.
Don’t get me wrong, I know there’s gonna be crap days,
(there are shitty days in any job..)
but what if every day feels like that??
The thing is,
I’ve never been one to quit without trying harder first.
It’s engrained in my being,
it’s how I was brought up.
My Dad always told me – ‘you’re not a quitter’
You know that saying
“fall down 7 times get up 8” << something like that,
we all know how much I hate quotes haha
That’s how I’m feeling right now.
The thing is,
I’m not sure how many more times I can get up again…
Then all of my OWN advice rings in my ears every day…
STOP doing something that’s making you UNHAPPY…
If you’re in enough PAIN, you’ll CHANGE something!
But deep down,
there’s a little gut feeling – that I just need to hang on a little longer, get through this rough period
and press on harder and stronger than ever before.
So that’s what I’m doing.
I’ve made some changes to my daily routine,
I’m going to stop being so hard on myself
I’m going to stop placing such huge expectations on myself and instead
set myself small daily tasks that are easily achievable…
If you’re unhappy right now,
I suggest you do this same…
Whether that be with life,
your job,
your relationships
or even your body and weight.
Don’t change anything until you’re truly ready to change.
And when you do,
make sure it’s small, management steps in the right direction – instead of going all guns blazing
and ending up burning yourself in the process…
^^ don’t recommend this!
Start with something as simple
as committing to walking 30 minutes a day
and drinking more water.
Do that for two weeks and see how much better you feel.
Look after yourself
I’ll look after me
and I’ll also look after you by showing you HOW to create small healthy habits that will last
when you apply for my January intake of
which starts on Monday 11th January.
